Lexi's Tinkerbell picture :)

Miss Lexi drew this picture of Tinkerbell! She had a reference picture for the face and then drew the body all by herself! Can you believe she is only 11????? I don't know where she gets it from cause I can't draw a stick figure!

Here is Lexi's school picture this year! We loved last years too, but she had had a few there that she wasn't hardly smiling and her eyes were half closed LOL! She was so thrilled to bring this home and show it to us! I've been letting her wear a touch of makeup here and there now that she is in middle school and gosh she looks so grown up all of a sudden! Can't believe she will be 12 thsi year! The years go way to fast! Luckily fo rme she isn't just pretty.... she's smart, funny and ever so kind as well :)

I am a Fanilow..... and not embarrassed one bit :)

OK I know the prompt over at the Mojo was to blog about your most embarrassing music purchase.... but I don't embarrass easily. However, my little obsession does embarrass the heck outta my husband and my daughter! I have had Copacabana as my ring tone for years and everytime my oldest daughter hears my phone ring when we are in public she hides her head in shame! But fortunately I couldn't care less.... I'm actually listening to a Manilow Marathon as we speak :) I love every song he has ever done. I think they are incredibly happy and romantic and just make me feel good!

Pretty Garbage Can :)

When I was working on this my daughter's best friend walked up behind me and said, "you aren't supposed to put garbage in things that are pretty!" I said..... if your a scrapbooker you do :) Made this out of a coffee can for my table in the hopes that a smaller garbage container will make me empty it before it overflows onto the floor! This is for the contest at Treasured Scrapbooking sponsered by Cherry Arte! Got a lot of the awesome stuff that I used from a Treasured Scrapbooking kit (August) that I won at a crop! Hung this up in my kitchen for everyone to jot down what they need..... maybe I'll never have to hear "Mom I TOLD you to buy me XYZ" again :) There is also a pocket where I can put an index card on which I've written the weeks "menu"

Scrappin Chicks Card Day Challenge

I learned how to make the coolest cards over at Scrappin Chicks! Caardvarks "Got Paint" challenge

Gotta love the challenges at Caardvarks :) This one was fun for me! I very, very rarely use paint, but I love how this turned out! I painted around the edges in pink and black. Then painted all of the chipboard peices! Fun stuff!
