And some more pics of the album

Seriously.... my favorite thing I've ever made :)

I had never done a paper bag album so I was SO excited when Jennifer over at Scrap City put together this challenge kit for us! She gave us an awesome envelope FULL of fun papers and stuff and a pre-sewn paper bag album! I made an unfilled album that I was planning on giving as a gift.... but now I love it so much I'm not sure it's going anywhere LOL! THANKS JENNIFER :)

Lexi's Tinkerbell picture :)

Miss Lexi drew this picture of Tinkerbell! She had a reference picture for the face and then drew the body all by herself! Can you believe she is only 11????? I don't know where she gets it from cause I can't draw a stick figure!

Isn't she the prettiest :)

Here is Lexi's school picture this year! We loved last years too, but she had had a few there that she wasn't hardly smiling and her eyes were half closed LOL! She was so thrilled to bring this home and show it to us! I've been letting her wear a touch of makeup here and there now that she is in middle school and gosh she looks so grown up all of a sudden! Can't believe she will be 12 thsi year! The years go way to fast! Luckily fo rme she isn't just pretty.... she's smart, funny and ever so kind as well :)

I am a Fanilow..... and not embarrassed one bit :)

OK I know the prompt over at the Mojo was to blog about your most embarrassing music purchase.... but I don't embarrass easily. However, my little obsession does embarrass the heck outta my husband and my daughter! I have had Copacabana as my ring tone for years and everytime my oldest daughter hears my phone ring when we are in public she hides her head in shame! But fortunately I couldn't care less.... I'm actually listening to a Manilow Marathon as we speak :) I love every song he has ever done. I think they are incredibly happy and romantic and just make me feel good!

Pretty Garbage Can :)

When I was working on this my daughter's best friend walked up behind me and said, "you aren't supposed to put garbage in things that are pretty!" I said..... if your a scrapbooker you do :) Made this out of a coffee can for my table in the hopes that a smaller garbage container will make me empty it before it overflows onto the floor! This is for the contest at Treasured Scrapbooking sponsered by Cherry Arte! Got a lot of the awesome stuff that I used from a Treasured Scrapbooking kit (August) that I won at a crop! Here's a link to Treasured Scrapbooking

Materials: Cherry Arte PP's and rubons; Fancy Pants rubons; Sassafrass Lass PP; Stickles; chipboard; misc. ribbons and fabric strips and a coffee can.

Grocery clipboard

Made this for a challenge at Inspire Me Card Kit's Harvest Your Creativity crop :) What a fun idea! Hung this up in my kitchen for everyone to jot down what they need..... maybe I'll never have to hear "Mom I TOLD you to buy me XYZ" again :) There is also a pocket where I can put an index card on which I've written the weeks "menu"

Scrappin Chicks Card Day Challenge

I learned how to make the coolest cards over at Scrappin Chicks! These gals are ridiculously talented :) Here's the link if you want to learn how to make them! The first one is a slider the card, the second one was a die cut/texture challenge and the third one is a viewmaster card. There are 5 images that rotate through the window :)

Caardvarks "Got Paint" challenge

Gotta love the challenges at Caardvarks :) This one was fun for me! I very, very rarely use paint, but I love how this turned out! I painted around the edges in pink and black. Then painted all of the chipboard peices! Fun stuff!

A Perfect Day: Scrap-Diner Viva la Friday challenge

This was for a Viva La Friday challenge over at Scrap-Diner! The challenge was to take an old layout you disliked and redo it.... I hope by that they meant to take the pics off and COMPLETELY REDO IT!!! The new layout is the super fabulous glitter-rific one on the top. The bottom one is the only layout that I've made that I truly disliked! I'm so glad I redid a layout for these precious pics of me and Elli's first Mother's Day!

More Halloween fun!

Made this for our front door! I'm so thrilled with how it turned out :)

This one's for you Mom....

Mommy if you are reading this I know you are thinking "Told ya so!' But I know you'll get a kick out of these! Miss Elli is a finicky sleeper.... didn't like the crib, bassinette, playpen! Only her carseat! So I always let her sleep in the carseat til I go to bed. Well.... it appears she may be too big for this now! These were all in the last few weeks. In the first one she tipped over the carseat, has her head in the bottom and kept sleeping with it up in the air. In the second she rolled out of it and is sleeping with her arm underneath it. In the third she got up, walked over to Lex who was sleepin on the couch, poked her back a few times, then gave up and layed down on the floor next to the couch and by the dog. In the fourth she rolled out and we found her sleeping with her head against the dining room chair! What a goof! Love you Mom!

Gettin ready for halloween

Made this fun little basket today :) What a cheap and easy project and it looks so cute in our family room! Picked up some of these pre-painted baskets at Joann's and just added ribbon, buttons, punkins cut out of DCWV paper and some MM rubons.
